Multidisciplinary approach to solutions

Research & Development is the core of the Argus philosophy. Close collaboration with research institutes like Department of Earth Science, University of Bergen has been a major driver for our technological advances. The Argus ROV systems are, from the control systems down to the tiniest connector, results of in-house R & D.

This gives Argus hardware a high performance level as all components are tailored to each other. Argus systems are therefore highly reliable. Furthermore, the Argus approach to R & D allows a high level of flexibility – if we need a tool or a sensor we develop it to meet ours and our clients' requirements.

Five senior engineers work full time for the Argus R & D department, all with years of experience, relevant education, a creative approach and a healthy curiosity. Argus R & D is devoted to both hardware and software development. Argus has specialists within telerobotics /control systems, power electronics, digital & analogue electronics, programming and information transmission.
